🍿 Honey Popcorn 3 Ways: Easy Recipes for a Cozy Holiday Movie Night
Kathy and Brian enjoying cozy holiday movie night with PorkChop and popcorn.
When the bees are tucked in for winter, so are we. Around here, “movie night” usually means a bulldog stealing half the blanket and a big bowl (or three) of honey-drizzled popcorn on the coffee table.
It’s our kind of hibernation — simple, sweet, and a little sticky. You don’t need fancy ingredients or a gourmet setup — just your favorite jar of honey and a good movie queue.
🍯 1️⃣ Honey Butter & Sea Salt
The classic: sweet, salty, and shiny.
How to make it:
Melt butter and Fat Head Raw Honey right over your popcorn and finish with a sprinkle of flaky salt. That’s it. Fast, buttery, and gone before the opening credits roll.
🌶️ 2️⃣ Hot Honey Heat
For those who like a little kick.
How to make it:
Add a light drizzle of Killer Bee Hot Honey and a pinch of red-pepper flakes. Sweet first, then spicy — like a popcorn plot twist.
🍫 3️⃣ Salted Honey Cocoa Dust
For when you’re feeling extra cozy.
How to make it:
Toss popcorn with Salted Honey and a light dusting of cocoa powder (or even hot cocoa mix). Finish with a tiny pinch of flaky salt. It’s sweet, toasty, and feels like dessert.
🎥 Movie Night at the Hive House
Popcorn might be the snack, but the moment’s the memory. The bees are resting, the honey house is quiet, and inside, the lights are low and the bowls are bottomless.
Even PorkChop knows when it’s movie night — he’s usually stationed front and center, pretending to guard the snacks.
Whether you’re curling up with your crew, your sweetheart, or your bulldog, these honeyed popcorns are your ticket to the sweetest kind of hibernation.
From our hive to your home —
Wishing you sticky fingers, cozy nights, and honey on everything.
